Thanks for the tip, Samantha. But I have parents who live in the village all year around, and where the family can all stay. And I actually feel there are too many holiday lets and second homes in the village (and most of the South West), which only make it impossible for young local people to stay in the place they have grown up in, and leading to the closure of local amenities such as the library. Thanks for giving me the opening to say this.

Nice place! I would suggest you to have Holiday Lets in Shaldon booked now. You will never miss the celebration and the spectacular place.
