Is there anyway of seeing the prints that you have on show at Skylark?

It went well - sales, commissions and other interest. The prints were mainly the most popular that are already available: Spitalfields, Paddington Station, Salcombe, as on the website www.james-hobbs.co.uk
But there were new drawings too, as on my Flickr site, of Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square.

So in a sketch like this - nice work, by the way - I thought it would be fun to guess which was the first line laid down.

I'm betting on the upper curve of the wrap-around billboard in the center. Close?

Hooray for digital media.

You would win a prize if a prize was on offer. It was, I'm sure, that line. Not that I remember, just that it makes sense. It places both the centre of the drawing and the skyline - and the line of perspective going along Shaftesbury Avenue. And anyway, it looks bolder.
